Terms of use
A few things to know while using Aether Journal.
An alpha, built around your wallet
Aether Journal helps you read public blockchain activity, explore holdings and keep a personal record. The service is in alpha: features can change, records may be incomplete, and availability is not guaranteed. Coming-soon features are not available to use or purchase through these pages.
Your wallet stays yours
Connecting lets Aether Journal identify your wallet and display its activity. Signing in may ask you to sign a login message. Aether Journal does not ask for your seed phrase or private keys, take custody of your assets, or place trades for you. Check every request in your wallet before approving it.
Use the record with care
Values, source labels, cost estimates and returns depend on available blockchain and market data. They may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Check important figures against the underlying transactions and your own records. Aether Journal is not an investment, tax or legal adviser.
Responsible use
Use the service lawfully. Do not try to access another person’s private account data, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or abuse its infrastructure. Keep your connected device and wallet secure.
Your notes and corrections
You remain responsible for the notes and acquisition details you enter. Notes and profile customisations currently live in your browser; clearing site storage can remove them. Keep a separate copy of anything important.
Other services
Wallet providers, explorers and protocols have their own terms and practices. A link or an identified transaction source does not imply an endorsement or partnership.
Updates and questions
These terms may change as the alpha develops. The date on this page identifies the current version. Contact us about the service, these terms or a problem with your account.
